Job summary

BPA is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technologist for our Edmonton team. You will contribute to the design and delivery of a wide range of building projects, working with engineers, designers and project teams throughout all phases.

You will develop mechanical drawings, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to codes and client requirements while supporting BIM workflows and transitioning to Revit-based project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related discipline.
  • 5–10 years experience in consulting engineering focused on building mechanical systems.
  • Proven experience producing construction drawings and technical documentation.
  • Strong proficiency with Revit.
  • Solid understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with building codes and industry best practices.
  • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Your Future Role
