Job summary

The Crown Leaf Cannabis is seeking a Budtender for our North York, Ontario location. You will be the primary contact for customers, fostering a safe, informative, and welcoming atmosphere while educating guests on recreational cannabis products to deliver an exceptional in-store experience.

We look for genuine passion for customer interaction and the ability to multitask in a retail setting. Cannabis POS experience is an asset; CannSell training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or over.
• CannSell Training Certificate preferred (must possess prior to employment offer).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Point of Sale systems is an asset (training provided).
• Retail or hospitality customer service experience is preferred.
• Able to transport up to 30 lbs and multitask in a retail environment.
• Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, holidays.

Job description

The Crown Leaf Cannabis is seeking a full-time and part-time Budtender for our North York, Ontario location. As a Budtender, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, fostering a safe, informative, and welcoming atmosphere for every visitor.

We are looking for someone with genuine passion for customer interaction and a talent for creating an open, friendly environment. Your role will include educating and guiding customers on recreational cannabis products, with the goal of delivering an exceptional experience to everyone who walks through our doors.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or over
• Criminal background check (Must possess prior to employment offer)
• CannSell Training Certificate (Must possess prior to employment offer)
• Excellent verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills and experience with Point of Sales systems is an asset (training is provided on the Cannabis POS system)
• Experience in a similar role with sales and customer service experience in retail or hospitality with extensive customer-facing interaction
• Eagerness to learn
• Related product knowledge an asset
• Demonstrate high levels of integrity and responsibility
• Positive and outgoing personality to ensure a high level of customer interaction and satisfaction
• Ability to multitask
• Organizational skills to maintain efficiencies
• Meet the physical demands of a retail environment including transporting up to 30lbs
• Flexible availability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
