Job summary

Aviva Canada, serving the Greater Toronto Area, is seeking a Broker Operations Specialist to drive operational excellence and deliver an exceptional broker experience. You will manage broker onboarding, inquiries, and coordination across cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality service.

You will actively monitor broker performance, support strategic initiatives, and act as the quarterback for broker relationships within a collaborative Business Development team.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry or broker channel.
• Ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; build credibility with stakeholders.
• Customer-first mindset and strong relationship-building capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage broker demand through Salesforce and ensure timely resolution of requests.
• Coordinate broker onboarding and setup activities for new partners.
• Support underwriting resolution by partnering with internal teams and brokers.
• Develop, monitor, and execute broker performance and growth plans.
• Lead broker performance management activities and regional business reviews.
• Execute regional broker communications and engagement initiatives.
• Support rollout of broker initiatives including pricing, product, and development programs.
• Implement underwriting audit recommendations to improve quality.
• Coordinate with Broker Training Team for development opportunities.
• Facilitate recurring broker and internal stakeholder meetings to strengthen relationships.
• Represent Aviva at broker meetings, industry events, and campaigns.
