Job summary

BMO is seeking a Business Development Manager to support BrokerEdge clients in Vancouver, BC. The role focuses on building strategic broker partnerships, expanding home financing programs, and driving referrals to increase market share.

Ideal candidates bring 4–6 years of relevant experience, strong presentation and communication skills, and a track record in business development and relationship management within B2B networks.

• In-depth knowledge of mortgage programs/products and B2B networks.
• Proven business development success.
• Customer-oriented; focused on delivering great customer experience.
• Verbal & written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains strategic relationships with centres of influence and third parties (e.g. Brokers, Brokerages, Builders and non-BMO Investment Advisor Offices).
• Develops a market business plan to achieve objectives.
• Represents the sales programs/products in sales calls and events.
• Generates appointments and develops new relationships to grow business results.
• Prioritizes the market’s client and prospect pipeline.
• Trains and coaches partners on program operations and regulatory requirements.
• Negotiates pricing, underwriting and presentations with brokers and partners.
• Monitors referrals performance and ensures alignment between stakeholders.
