Job summary
ISL is seeking a Bridge Inspection Technologist to join our team in BC's lower mainland, with projects centered in Burnaby. You will be involved in all phases of bridge design and construction, coordinating and leading bridge condition assessments and construction inspection efforts.
Ideal candidates have 1–5+ years in bridge inspection, a Civil/Structural engineering background, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree related to Civil/Engineering disciplines.
- 1 to 5+ years of Bridge Inspection experience.
- Knowledge of drafting/design using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Experience with Canadian highway design codes and other standards.
Responsibilities
- Field Inspection of Bridges and Structures.
- Use and operation of drones and concrete testing equipment.
- Documentation of results and timely reporting, staying current with industry standards.
- Drafting depending on abilities and project needs.
- Coordinate and lead Bridge Condition Assessments and Construction Inspections.
