Job summary

Associated Engineering in Edmonton is seeking an experienced Bridge Engineer-in-Training to support inspection and bridge asset management projects and standard/major bridge and culvert work for a variety of clients. You will collaborate with a team to grow the practice area, plan inspection/maintenance programs, and manage projects within budget and quality constraints.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution. Post-graduate degree in structural engineering is an asset.
• Registered, or eligible for registration as an Engineer-In-Training with APEGA.
• 1-2 years of experience in the consulting industry.

Responsibilities

• Support inspection and bridge asset management projects and standard/major bridge and culvert projects for public and private sector clients.
• Grow the practice area with the team, collaborate with clients, plan and carry out inspection/maintenance programs, and manage projects within budget and quality requirements.
• Develop technical skills and undertake structural engineering design.
