Pier Solutions seeks a Bridge Craftsperson to uphold the highest level of professionalism on sites, demonstrating teamwork, integrity, service, quality, and a strong work ethic in all interactions with coworkers, subcontractors, and clients. Your project responsibilities include general labour, tools operation, and on-site documentation management.

You will work on rural Manitoba and Saskatchewan bridge projects, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

  • General labour on construction sites with tools operation
  • Class 5 driver's license is required
  • Class 3 or 1A license, or willingness to obtain them
  • Heavy equipment experience is an asset
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Performing general labour on construction sites, including operation of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
  • Identifying creative construction methods to complete work requirements efficiently
  • Assisting the site lead in ensuring that all work meets quality standards and project specifications
  • Working with project managers to maintain on-site documentation, including site safety records, hazard assessments, and daily job-site logs
  • Maintaining all tools and equipment used on site and ensuring that materials and supplies are available as needed
  • Providing mentorship and support to the less experienced craftspeople on your team

Job Description

As a Pier Solutions Bridge Craftsperson, your core goal is to uphold the highest level of professionalism on all sites, demonstrating teamwork, integrity, service, quality, and a hard work ethic in all your interactions with coworkers, subcontractors, and clients. Your project responsibilities include the following:
