Stantec is seeking a talented Bridge Engineer to deliver projects within the Transportation Engineering Group in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Join our National Bridge Team to work on design, analysis, and delivery of bridges and related structures.
You will contribute to projects across Maritime provinces and beyond, applying CSA S6 and using tools like CSiBridge, SAP2000, MIDAS, SFrame and AutoCAD. P.Eng. with Engineers Nova Scotia and 5+ years of experience preferred.

We are looking for a talented Bridge Engineer to deliver projects as part of our Transportation Engineering Group in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We are looking for passionate engineers to strengthen our team delivering high-end engineering services to our current and future clients, particularly in the Maritime provinces, but also across Canada.
Technical design for bridges, culverts, retaining walls and foundation engineering assignments
Analysis, design, preparation & delivery of tender packages, visual inspections, report preparation, cost estimating, construction engineering services
Business development and proposal preparation
Proven ability to deliver bridge design and analysis projects from start to finish
Excellent report writing skills
Strong understanding of Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CSA S6)
Familiarity with N.S. Department of Public Works design standards and project delivery is an asset
Experience with CSiBridge / SAP2000 / MIDAS Civil / SFrame / AutoCAD and similar software is an asset
Experience with DB or P3 projects is an asset
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
Self-motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork
P.Eng. designation with Engineers Nova Scotia
5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the Bridge Consulting Engineering industry
Bridge inspection following OSIM, or equivalent
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
