Germain Hotels is seeking a friendly Server for Sosta Pizzeria at Alt Hotel Halifax Airport. You’ll deliver attentive service and greet guests like family, creating a welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean, organized bar and catering area. Availability for Saturday/Sunday breakfast shifts is required, with opportunities to grow within a hospitality-focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant service.
• Must be available to work breakfasts on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Good physical condition: able to stand for hours and lift/carry up to 50 lb.
• Excellent stress and pressure management.
• Sociable and a team player.
• Natural ability to communicate well.

Does listening to and advising others come naturally to you? We're looking for a Server to join the team at Sosta Pizzeria, located at Alt Hotel Halifax Airport. This energetic person offers attentive service and knows how to greet a guest as if he or she were a member of the family, making them feel truly welcome.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Be on the lookout for guests' needs to offer them a unique experience: know and understand the menu so you can inform them or make recommendations.
• Help set up, open and close the bar and catering area.
• Take orders and serve all food and beverages.
• Anticipate guest's needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge guests throughout the service.
• Ensure that the working environment and equipment are always clean, disinfected and well organized.
• Comply with current laws and regulations regarding alcohol.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Experience in restaurant service, an asset
• Must be available to work breakfast shifts on Saturdays and Sundays
• Good physical condition: must be able to stand for several hours at a time and lift/carry loads of up to 50 lb
