Job summary

InnVest Hotels GP Ltd is seeking a friendly breakfast attendant to provide personalized service to guests, set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, and assist with food preparation each morning. You will ensure brand standards are met and help keep the dining area welcoming and clean.

The role involves stocking essentials, serving guests, and coordinating with front desk for guest needs. Training and a supportive team environment are provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized service to all guests.
• Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet per brand standards.
• Prepare foods such as fresh fruit, breads, pastries, batters and coffee.
• Stock coffee, juice and milk.
• Set up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other paper products.
• Set out cold foods like pastries and cereals, and hot items.
• Restock items throughout breakfast hours and for the next day.
• Maintain breakfast area in a clean condition during operation hours.
• Sanitize tables and chairs as they are vacated.
• Clean buffet counter and manage waste as needed.
• Check cleaning frequency and complete daily duties.
• Greet guests and offer assistance, acting as hospitable host.
• Report complaints to Front Office/GM for immediate action.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish food, beverages and supplies.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide personalized service to all guests.
• Responsible for setting up and maintaining the breakfast buffet as required by brand standards
• Follow menu requirements as provided by the brand
• Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, breads, pastries, batters and coffee
• Stocking coffee, juice and milk
• Setting up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other paper products
• Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
• Preparing and setting up hot food items
• Restocking items consistently throughout the breakfast hours and for the next day
• Maintain the breakfast area in a clean condition during the hours of operation
• sanitizing tables and chairs as they are vacated
• Cleaning buffet counter and emptying trash as neededWashing serving equipment and returning to storage
• Returning reusable food supplies to storage
• Check the cleaning frequency chart and do the required cleaning each day.
• Function as a pleasant, hospitable host by greeting guests and offering assistance.
• Be sure that established service procedures are followed at all times. Thank the guest, and ask him/her to come back again.
• Advise the Front Office or General Manager of any complaints so that they can be rectified immediately.
• Responsible for checking inventory levels of all food, beverages and supply items on the buffet and replenish them as needed for each day.
• Assist Front Office or General Manager with ordering or purchasing food supplies.
