Job summary

Ecolab's EcoSure division is seeking a Brand Protection Advisor (Hospitality and Hotels) to help clients maintain top brand standards across hotels, foodservice and related sectors. You will conduct on-site visits, coach staff, and deliver training to uphold guest safety and product quality.

The role requires residence in or near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, with 75%–100% travel including out-of-province assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years of hotel hospitality industry-related experience including housekeeping, general management, or front desk supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Position requires a current and valid Driver's License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record; travel to the US for training/meetings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of brand protection visits at hotel and food service client locations using a foundation of consulting, coaching, and training to meet client expectations and protect their brand.
• Adhere to HIPPA guidelines (where applicable) while visiting hotels, restaurants, convenience stores, education sector, healthcare and senior living facilities by interacting with staff and residents.
• Develop and deliver summary presentations of assessment findings, areas of improvement, and recommendations to client leadership.
• Partner with other EcoSure and Ecolab teams to solve client challenges.
• Complete a budgeted number of visits each week, delivering an exceptional client experience.
• Utilize a tablet, Microsoft Suite, and CRM technology to plan and perform job functions efficiently.
• Support the growth initiatives of our company and our clients.

What You Will Do

• Adhere to HIPPA guidelines (where applicable) while completing operational visits within hotels, restaurants, convenience stores, the education sector, healthcare and senior living facilities by interacting with staff and residents
• Develop and deliver summary presentations of assessment findings, areas of improvement, and recommendations to client leadership
• Partner with other EcoSure and Ecolab teams to solve client challenges
• Complete a budgeted number of visits each week, delivering an exceptional client experience
• Utilize a tablet, Microsoft Suite, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology to ensure efficient planning and perform essential job functions

Position Details

• Candidate must reside in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan or close surrounding areas
• Territory will include Saskatoon, Regina, Saskatchewan including out of province travel to provide customer support
• Percent of overnight travel required: 75% - 100%, including out of province travel as needed
• Position requires the ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years of hotel hospitality industry-related experience including housekeeping, general management, or front desk supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Position requires a current and valid Driver's License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Able to travel to the US for training/meetings

Physical Demands

• Position requires the ability to be around, touch and potentially consume food made from or with animal products and/or top allergens
• Position requires the ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
• Essential duties of the position include bending, squatting, shifting and adjusting movement to assess areas low to the ground and above the head
• Position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time in client locations
• Position requires the ability to drive and/or fly to client locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Post Secondary diploma in culinary, hospitality or business field
• Experience in food safety and brand standards evaluations
• Teaching or coaching experience in a food/hotel related field
• High-level customer service and advanced consultative skills
• Ability to work well under pressure, juggle tasks and work efficiently against deadlines
• Strong planning and organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively without supervision, show initiative, good judgment, and superior decision-making and problem-solving skills
