In this role, you’ll be a champion of our brand — helping define and maintain our visual identity, creating tools that empower teams across the organization, and supporting the campaigns that grow our reach and deepen our connection with supporters.
As part of the National Marketing and Development team, you’ll collaborate across departments to ensure our brand is clear, consistent, and compelling — from the smallest design detail to national awareness campaigns. Responsibilities
Brand Development
- Serve as the primary organizational resource for developing new brand imagery, iconography, and key messaging; maintain the Visual Brand Identity Guide and Brand Book.
- Develop and maintain brand standards, including visual identity guidelines and core brand messaging.
- Coordinate brand-related research to inform the evolution of the brand and associated standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., editorial, translation) to develop brand-aligned resources.
- Organize and manage the library of brand assets, templates, tools, collateral, and design files.
- Oversee the branded merchandise store, including inventory and vendor management.
Brand Management
- Ensure organization-wide brand consistency and implementation of best-in-class marketing practices across all channels and materials.
- Lead brand training and onboarding for staff, supporting effective use of guidelines, templates, and tools.
- Implement and manage a brand review process to ensure consistent application and understanding of brand standards.
- Provide timely support and feedback for brand inquiries and material reviews.
- Identify and address non-compliant materials, working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Manage the annual marketing budget, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliation and reporting.
Campaign Development
- Plan and execute brand awareness campaigns to drive supporter engagement, acquisition, and retention.
- Promote the brand across digital and social platforms to reach and grow new audiences.
- Manage campaign development and execution, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Coordinate contracts and collaborate with external vendors on campaign strategy, creative development, media planning, and asset production.
- Analyze supporter data to identify key opportunities for message refinement, media placement, and engagement tactics to maximize campaign impact.
Position Requirements
- University degree or equivalent in marketing, public relations or relevant field
- 3-5 years in digital marketing and/or brand management
- Minimum 2 years experience in a cross-functional environments delivering brand and campaign work
- Strong strategic, analytical and creative thinking skills
- Deep understanding of brand marketing, including creative development and full marketing mix
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with ability to effectively manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment with numerous projects
- Skilled communicator with strong writing, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Bilingual French/English and knowledge of fundraising considered assets
