We are looking for an exceptional marketer to join the Danone Canada team as a Brand Manager, based in either our Toronto or Boucherville locations. This role will help elevate a group of exciting brands and continue to drive strong growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage brands: Collaborate with and under the supervision of the Director of Marketing to develop and execute marketing programs based on a deep understanding of consumer needs and behaviors.
- Develop strategies: Create and implement brand marketing strategies for Canada, including communication plans across traditional, digital, and social media, and manage brand influencer and ambassador programs.
- In-store activation: Plan and execute in-store activation strategies in collaboration with the sales team.
- Performance monitoring: Analyze brand performance using internal data, Nielsen, panels, and studies; forecast sales; and propose recommendations.
- Day-to-day management: Manage brand activities, develop innovative marketing strategies, and oversee execution components such as promotion, packaging, pricing, and product development.
- Global collaboration: Work effectively with Danone's global network, including Danone USA.
- Budget management: Monitor and control marketing budgets, assessing their impact on profitability.
- Team development: Contribute to the development of the Assistant Brand Manager.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing; a Master’s degree or MBA is an asset.
- Fluent in French and English, both oral and written.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in brand management.
- Experience with marketing research and mastery of Nielsen and Homescan tools.
- Strong analytical, autonomous, and proactive with leadership and interpersonal skills.
