Shopper Marketing Specialist – Danone Canada

As part of this position, you will be accountable for :

Mission: As a key member of the Shopper Marketing team, you will support the Senior Shopper Marketing Manager in the end-to-end execution of different projects. Your responsibilities will include managing the development of shopper marketing materials/tools, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

More specifically :

• Manage a set of brands and accounts within the Shopper Marketing Team

• Work closely and collaboratively with various departments: Marketing, Sales, Legal/Regulatory, Supply, Field sales, and General Secretary, among others.

• Develop activations strategies for small-medium scale projects with the Marketing Team

• Create agency briefs, provide creative support and ensure quality control until the activation goes live

• Develop and coordinate the execution of flyer ad mats in line with brand guidelines and client requests

• Develop and test new merchandising and selling tools

• Manage the shopper marketing activation calendar and ensure compliance at all levels

• Ensure all projects are well delivered and on budget

• Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and agencies

• Compile the results of shopper marketing projects, analyze and provide recommendations to improve the performance of marketing initiatives

• Manage purchase orders for various projects and monitor the budgets allocated for each project

• Proactively ideate and develop solutions for the business

About you

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and competencies :

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration / Marketing

• 2-3 years of experience in Sales and or Marketing

• Knowledge of in-store environments and direct sales experience is an asset

• Bilingual (English and French) is an asset

• Blend of creativity and rigorous attention to detail

• Strong observational skills and analytical capacity

• Efficiency and autonomy to manage different projects simultaneously

• Proactive attitude and a strong desire to take on new challenges and initiatives

• Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency

• Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Strong organizational, time and priority management skills

• Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint (intermediate/advanced)
