Job summary

Canopy Growth is seeking a Brand Ambassador for Nova Scotia & Prince Edward Island. This is the first on-the-ground member of our sales team, connecting with customers to share top-quality product education and authentically reflect our culture to drive brand loyalty.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful candidate will manage accounts in their territory, build relationships with retail staff and managers, execute in-store merchandising, and identify opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year experience within retail or sales in related CPG industry.
• Experience growing brand awareness within a territory and thinking outside the box.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Cannabis knowledge is an asset; enthusiasm is a must.
• Brand Ambassador experience is an asset.
• Experience in Beverage Alcohol, Cannabis, or related CPG industry is an asset.
• Proven track record of working remotely and independently.
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Willingness to travel.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, our Brand Ambassador, Nova Scotia & Prince Edward Island role is the first "feet on the street" of our Sales team and proudly connects with our customers, sharing top-quality product education, and speaking authentically about our products and culture to drive brand loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Managing all accounts in their assigned territory and establishing Canopy Growth as a first-choice partner with customers
• Connecting with customers, sharing top-quality product education, and speaking authentically about our products and culture
• Building and developing relationships with managers and staff at each assigned retail location
• Communicating with key decision makers about changes in product portfolio, pricing strategies and limited time promotional buys
• Creating brand awareness and community engagement within their given territory
• Seeking new opportunities to increase brand exposure and volume
• Effectively managing their given territory, ensuring all administration records and information is up to date
• Ensuring best-in-class execution of merchandising and display assets according to specified guidelines
• Effectively leading industry and brand education sessions with key stakeholders
• Support community engagement, customer‑lead training, and sampling initiatives
• Managing own time including building effective weekly/monthly store visit schedules that align with top revenue driving locations
• Other duties assigned

Experience

• Have a minimum two-year’s experience within retail or sales in related CPG industry, industry experience would be preferred.
• Previous success in growing brand awareness, within a given territory, using outside of the box thinking
• Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills.
• Are self‑motivated and have exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Possessing knowledge of cannabis is an asset; enthusiasm is a must.
• Previous experience being a Brand Ambassador will be an asset
• Experience in Beverage Alcohol, Cannabis, or related CPG industry an asset
• Proven track record of working remotely and independently
• Clean drivers abstract
• Willingness to travel

Other Details

This is a full time remote position based out of Halifax, NS.

• Benefits - extended health and dental coverage, paid vacation and participation in our employer-supported retirement savings program.
• Salary - $60,000 - $70,000 + car allowance
