Job summary

The Miller Group in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a Brand Ambassador/Receptionist to be the welcoming face of the organization. You will manage front office operations, support administrative tasks, and help coordinate events at our Corporate Head Office.

This role requires a polished communicator, proactive and organized mindset, and the ability to promote the Miller brand experience both internally and externally. A current driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of admin/front‑office experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, dependable and able to multi‑task.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with a professional tone.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and manage sign‑in and safety protocols.
  • Answer, screen, and forward calls; provide accurate information.
  • Keep reception, boardrooms clean, organized and presentation‑ready.
  • Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail and courier services.
  • Support departments with photocopying, scanning, filing, and scheduling.
  • Maintain office calendars and shared communication tools.
  • Manage meeting logistics, boardroom bookings, and refreshments.
  • Contribute to internal communications and event coordination.
  • Assist with data entry, reporting tasks, or special projects as needed.
  • Provide coordination and support for company events.

Role Profile

As the Brand Ambassador at Miller Paving Limited, you will serve as the welcoming face of the organization, managing front office operations while ensuring every visitor and caller experiences a warm, professional, and seamless introduction to our company. This role combines reception duties with administrative support and event coordination. It requires a polished communicator who is proactive, organized, and enthusiastic about promoting the Miller brand experience both internally and externally. You will be essential in ensuring a professional and customer‑focused atmosphere at our Corporate Head Office.

Main Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors in a professional, friendly, and approachable manner while ensuring all guest sign‑in and safety protocols are followed
  • Manage the main phone line by answering, screening, and forwarding calls as appropriate, and providing accurate information when needed
  • Ensure the reception area and boardrooms are always clean, organized, and presentation‑ready, before and after meetings
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services in a timely and organized manner
  • Support departments with administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and scheduling
  • Maintain and update office calendars, administrative records, and shared communication tools
  • Manage meeting logistics, including boardroom booking, refreshments, and room setup as needed
  • Contribute to internal communication initiatives by supporting announcements, posters, or event coordination
  • Assist with special projects, data entry, or reporting tasks as assigned by leadership
  • Provide coordination and support for company events
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, receptionist, or front‑office support role is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for customer service
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and dependable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly tone
  • Strong ability to adapt to new technology and troubleshoot
  • Ability to multi‑task and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
  • Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Prior experience in a corporate or construction industry office environment is an asset
  • A current drivers license is preferred as some coordination of resources for events is required
Compensation

This position offers a salary range of $55,000 to $65,000. Placement within the range will be determined based on the successful candidate's skills, experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with the requirements of the role.
