Job summary

Tru Cooperative Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead an assigned team of branch advisory employees and ensure outstanding member service through coaching and mentoring.

The ABM will participate in goal setting, monitor branch results, manage risk and compliance, and act in the branch manager's absence, while driving business development and customer relationships within the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mutual Fund License required depending on region.
• Complete internal Tru Cooperative certification program within the required timeframe.
• PFP preferred.
• Leadership development courses preferred.
• 4 years progressive experience in sales advisory roles within financial services.
• Business development experience preferred.
• Sales leadership and coaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership attributes and/or coaching a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to assigned branch advisory employees; conduct orientation and training, coaching and performance reviews.
• Develop and achieve the annual business plan; set branch service delivery targets and equip staff with required tools.
• Promote the branch and Tru Cooperative Bank within the community and nurture member relationships.
• Approve credit within established limits and ensure policy compliance.
• Investigate risk management issues and act as branch compliance officer; communicate regulatory updates.
