Job summary

RBC Winnipeg is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to coach a high-performing team of Advisors in a busy, high-volume retail banking environment, while achieving team objectives and promoting digital education and multichannel usage.

You will lead talent development, drive sales routines, nurture community relationships, and collaborate with RBC partners to deliver a memorable client experience, with a 6-day schedule including evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a people management/coaching role within the financial industry.
• Proven success in business growth and establishing community and client relationships.
• At least 2 years of licensed mutual fund sales experience within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing team of Advisors to drive sales and referrals.
• Coach team on client advice, education, problem resolution, and digital usage.
• Partner with manager to ensure branch operational effectiveness and team performance.
• Inspire and pioneer superior retailing to deliver a memorable client experience.
• Advance multichannel usage and collaboration with RBC partners to meet objectives.
• Address local community needs through recruitment and management practices.
