Job summary

RBC Dominion Securities in Windsor, Ontario, seeks a Branch Operations Manager to be the operational backbone of the branch, providing strategic and administrative leadership to the Branch Management Team and Advisor teams.

You will oversee daily branch operations, compliance, HR administration, client account processing, and cross-functional coordination, while maintaining audit-ready documentation standards.

Qualifications

• CIRE certification required.
• Prior experience in securities/banking.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong time management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Professional demeanor that fosters a positive working environment.
• Self-directed problem-solving ability; independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative operations and internal control requirements of the branch - approvals of transactions, technology support, documentation verification and account openings.
• Review compliance-related matters - ensure regulatory requirements and internal controls are met.
• Manage technology – oversee system access, setup, troubleshooting, and adoption.
• Liaise with internal RBC teams to resolve issues and streamline processes.
• Execute the Branch Manager’s vision by translating strategy into daily operations.
• HR administration including payroll, onboarding, vacation/absence management, recruitment, coaching and registrations.
• Recruit, lead and develop staff and coordinate ongoing professional development.
• Cultivate an environment that supports engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
