Job summary

RBC Dominion Securities in Canada is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to act as the operational backbone of the branch, delivering strategic and administrative leadership to the Branch Management Team and Advisor teams. You will ensure daily branch operations comply with regulatory standards while overseeing HR, client account processing, controls, and technology support.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative operations and internal control requirements of the branch - Approval of incoming and outgoing daily transactions, technology support, documentation verification and account openings approvals, etc.
• Review Compliance related matters - ensure all regulatory requirements and internal controls are consistently met.
• Manage technology – Oversee system access, setup, troubleshooting, and technology adoption across the branch.
• Liaise across internal departments – Coordinate with internal RBC teams to resolve issues and streamline processes.
• Execute the Branch Manager’s vision – Translate strategic goals into day-to-day operational excellence
• HR administration - Oversee payroll, new employee onboarding, vacation/absence management, recruitment, Coaching, Registrations (CIRO, Insurance, PC USA), employee recognition, performance management, etc.
• Recruit, lead and develop staff – assist in the recruitment and training of new branch support staff and coordinate ongoing professional development for existing team members.
• Cultivate an environment that supports employee engagement and strong cross-functional collaboration
