Job summary

DMC Recruitment represents a leading distributor of building materials in Ontario. We are seeking a Branch Manager for our Newmarket distribution centre to lead a team of 20+ and oversee daily operations Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will drive sales, ensure customer satisfaction, manage inventory, and partner with the marketing team to execute campaigns while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a leadership role focused on sales, customer service and operations.
• Proven results-oriented leader with Profit & Loss oversight.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to drive business growth.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
• Highly organized and capable in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong planning, organization and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage retail branch operations including showroom, warehouse & delivery services.
• Drive store performance to achieve sales goals, profit targets and customer satisfaction.
• Hire, train, schedule and mentor a team of 20+ employees.
• Oversee inventory management, purchasing, merchandising and control.
• Liaise with marketing on campaigns and promotions.
• Participate in local community events and support employee involvement.
