GardaWorld Cash in Sudbury is seeking a Branch Manager for the Cash Transportation division. You will lead the cash processing and secured transportation teams, drive customer service, schedule unionized staff, and ensure compliance with policies and safety rules.

This role offers a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment with mentoring, coaching, and development opportunities. A valid RPAL and five years of leadership experience are preferred; proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Teams

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience.
• Valid RPAL or ability to obtain within six months.
• Experience with safety/compliance in transportation is a plus.

Your Responsibilities:

• Foster relationships with and provide leadership for employees on the cash processing and secured transportation teams;
• Engage, motivate and develop employees on your team;
• Plan, organize and manage the work of unionized employees;
• Ensure customer satisfaction by exceeding service level agreements;
• Ensure that staff members comply with policies, administrative procedures, safety rules, collective agreements and government regulations;
• Act as a resource person for all employees in the assigned branch and territory;
• Collaborate with the manager and staff to establish and implement policies, procedures and objectives;
• Implement action plans to achieve productivity objectives;
• Participate in all process optimization initiatives;
• Promote safe work practices, by conducting safety audits, participating in company safety meetings, and meeting one-on-one with staff members;
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine the causes of accidents that occur during transport and improve safety procedures;
• Manage expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgets;
• Conduct investigations, as required, in collaboration with internal or external agencies to determine the causes of off-balance and claims and to resolve customer or shipper complaints;
• Participate in the hiring plan for new staff and provide ongoing training to meet workforce needs;
• Participate in the disciplinary process or the settlement of grievances in consultation with HR;
• All other related tasks.

Your Profile:

• Valid Restricted and Non-Restricted Federal Firearms License (RPAL: Restricted Possession and Acquisitions License) or obtain an RPAL within six months of employment;
• Upon obtaining an RPAL the candidate will be required to take the Company’s firearms course to obtain an Authorization to Carry (ATC);
• Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience, ideally in a unionized environment;
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams;
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record;
• Cash processing experience an asset;
• Very good leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution and judgment skills;
• Driven by offering exceptional customer service;
• Strong focus on teamwork and partnership;
• Sense of urgency, exceptional communication and problem-solving skills;
• Critical thinking and active listening skills;
• Working knowledge of Workers Compensation reporting process.
