Job summary

GardaWorld Cash Services in Nanaimo, BC is seeking Armed Driver Cash Transporters to safely perform value pickups and deliveries and to load/unload armored vehicles. You will follow routes, maintain security, and complete daily reports.

A PAL license, Class 5 license, BC Security Licence, and physical fitness are required, with on-call evening/night/weekend availability. We provide exclusive RPAL training, free training for selected candidates, full uniform, and opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• Hold a valid PAL (restricted and non-restricted) license.
• Have a valid Class 5 driver’s license with ≤6 demerit points.
• Possess a BC Security Licence or be willing to obtain it if hired.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Available for on-call shifts evenings, nights and weekends with no minimum hours.
• Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and safety‑minded.
• Customer service oriented and able to manage stressful situations.
• Highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe pickups and deliveries of values for clients.
• Reload or repair ABM machines as needed for multiple institutions.
• Ensure a safe environment for colleagues and customers.
• Follow established routes and schedules accurately.
• Drive armored vehicle with road safety as priority.
• Load and unload the armored vehicle.
• Complete daily reports and paperwork.
• Distribute and receive moneybags, receipts, route guides, and keys.
• Verify bulk orders from vaults and external sources.
• Comply with GardaWorldCash procedures and regulations.

We are hiring Armed Driver Cash Transporter's for our Cash Services division at our branch in Nanaimo, BC.

EXCLUSIVE TRAINING WITH GARDAWORLD CASH FOR OBTAINING A FIREARMS POSSESSION AND ACQUISITION LICENCE (PAL)

GardaWorld Cash is currently looking for new talent to join our team of Armed Driver Cash Transporters in our Nanaimo branch.

You dream of being an Armed Driver Cash Transporter, but you don't have your RPAL (restricted firearms license)? We're here to help! GardaWorld takes care of the RPAL Trainings and offers support for the license request.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform the pickups and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
• Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions
• Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
• Follow established routes and schedules closely
• Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
• Load and unload the armored vehicle
• Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork
• Responsible for the distribution and receipt of moneybags, receipts, daily route guides, route keys to fellow Armed Driver/Messengers
• Verify bulk orders received from the vault, other departments, and external sources
• Respect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorldCash
• Additional job duties may be assigned as necessary

What we’re looking for

• Possess a valid Restricted and Non-Restricted endorsed Firearms License (PAL: Possession and Acquisition License)
• Possess a valid class 5 driver's license with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points
• Possess a British Colombia Security Licence or be willing to obtain it if hired
• Capable to lift loads up to 50 pounds
• Available to work on-call for evenings, nights and or weekend shifts with no minimum guaranteed hours
• Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
• Customer service oriented and skillful in managing stressful situations
• Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable to cope with pressure and tight timelines

Successful candidates will be required to complete a free training as required by the Federal Government for this role.
