Branch Manager

Position Title: Branch Manager

Division: CTR Northern Division

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: President, Will Wiebe

About the Role

The CTR Northern Division is seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our growing regional operations. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving business results, building strong customer relationships, and cultivating a high-performing team culture. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, a strong decision-maker, and a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership:
    • Oversee daily operations of the branch, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor workflow efficiency, resource allocation, and operational quality to maintain high service standards.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
  • Team Management & Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and frontline employees.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and training initiatives.
    • Foster a positive work environment that aligns with CTR’s values and encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Business Growth & Customer Relations:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the Northern division.
    • Analyze market trends and customer needs to support revenue growth and business development efforts.
    • Support sales initiatives by identifying new opportunities and ensuring delivery of high-quality services.
    • Manage branch budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
    • Review financial reports, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
    • Ensure cost control practices and profitability targets are met or exceeded.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in operations, branch management, logistics, or a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of leading teams, managing budgets, and driving operational performance.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and adapt to changing demands.
  • Demonstrated customer-service orientation and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with standard office and operational software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the transportation, logistics, or industrial services sector.
  • Knowledge of regional market dynamics within the Northern division.
  • Experience managing multi-location or high-volume operations.
