Job summary

Rexel Canada Electrical Inc. seeks a Branch Manager for our Timmins location. You will lead branch operations, drive sales, manage key accounts and ensure exceptional customer service while growing the local territory.

The role requires a college education with 3–5 years in electrical distribution and 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity. Proficiency in MS Office and AS400 is desired; experience in electrical product sales is essential.

Qualifications

• College education plus 3-5 years of related experience in electrical distribution or equivalent mix of education/experience.
• At least 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Sound business acumen to analyze financial reports and implement strategies to meet targets.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and related tools.
• Experience in selling electrical products/industry and minimum 3 years in electrical industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend sales strategies and marketing objectives to the District Manager.
• Maintain and develop sales and profit objectives with key accounts.
• Ensure customer service standards and measure performance against them.
• Prepare work schedules ensuring adequate workflow for counter and inside sales functions.
• Hire personnel and promote a positive work climate within the Branch.
• Ensure policy implementation in inventory control, delivery, billing and security.
• Monitor stock discrepancies and take corrective action as needed.
• Grow and expand the branch territory.

Job Description

We are currently seeking aBranch Managerto become an integral part of ourTimminslocation.

As a Branch Manager, your principal responsibilities will be to:

• Develop and recommend sales strategies, marketing objectives, including sales volume and profit forecasts to the District Manager.
• Maintain and develop sales and profit objectives with assigned key accounts.
• Maintain accurate customer service measurement criteria and take appropriate action to ensure compliance with customer service standards.
• Prepare or ensure the preparation of work schedules in such a way that workflow for all areas (including counter sales and inside sales functions) are adequate to ensure compliance with customer service standards.
• Hire personnel in the Branch in accordance with Company standards and procedures.
• Promote and maintain a positive work climate within the Branch.
• Ensure proper implementation and application of company policies and procedures in general, but specifically those regarding inventory control, delivery, billing and collection, and security.
• Keep track of products to determine causes for discrepancies between inventory counts and stock control records and recommends remedial action to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• A college education plus 3-5 years of related experience within the electrical distribution industry or a combination of education and experience.
• At least 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Sound business acumen to analyze financial reports and to develop. appropriate implementation strategies to meet/exceed fiscal plans and targets.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• AS400 experience would be an asset.
• Must have experience in the sale of electrical products/industry.
• Minimum 3 years in the electrical industry.

Additional Information

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is CAD 65000 – 85000. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel’s total rewards package.
