Job summary

Quality Tire Service Ltd. is seeking a motivated Tire Technician to join our Saskatchewan locations. You will perform tire installation, balancing, rotation, and repair for passenger, light truck, and commercial tires, while ensuring correct inflation and inspection for wear and damage.

The position requires strong communication, the ability to work independently, and a valid driver's license. We offer TIA training, comprehensive insurance, and a company pension plan, with salary negotiable

Qualifications

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Organization, time management, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms.

Responsibilities

  • Understand safe methods for work procedures, invoicing process, accounts receivable, and sales.
  • Deliver value to customers.
  • Proficiency in tire technician tasks including installation, balance, rotation and repair of passenger, light truck, commercial, industrial, and ag tires; inspection of tires and wheels for inflation, wear patterns, tread depth and damage; work with TPMS; maintenance of service equipment; studding and retreading related tasks.
  • Successful completion of assigned courses.

Responsibilities include:
  • Understanding of safe methods for work procedures, invoicing process, accounts receivable, and sales
  • Delivering value to customers
  • Proficiency in all tasks expected of a Tire Technician (this includes: installation, balance, rotation and repair of passenger, light truck, commercial, industrial, and ag tire; inspection of tires and wheels for correct inflation, wear patterns, tread depth and damage; work with TPMS; maintenance of service equipment; specialty tire work including: studding of passenger and light truck tires, submitting commercial casings for retread, run flat tires, etc.)
  • Successful completion of assigned courses
