Job summary

Quality Tire Service Ltd. is seeking a tire service technician to install, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger, light truck, and commercial vehicles. The role includes inspecting tires, monitoring wear, and handling TPMS with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Candidates should demonstrate customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 25 kilograms are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires for various vehicle types.

Duties Include:
  • Installation, balance, rotation and repair of passenger, light truck, commercial, industrial, and ag tires
  • Inspection of tires and wheels for correct inflation, wear patterns, tread depth and damage
  • Work with tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
  • Maintenance of service equipment
  • Specialty tire work including: studding of passenger and light truck tires, submitting commercial casings for retreading, run flat tires, etc.
  • Completion of assigned courses; Tire Industry Association (TIA), and other related courses
Requirements
  • Customer service skills:
  • Ability to maintain and develop relationships with team members and customers
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Organization, time management, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to maintain valid drivers license and provide drivers abstract from Saskatchewan
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms

Salary negotiable based on tire knowledge and industry experience; includes a comprehensive group insurance package and company matched pension plan.
