Job summary

Fountain Tire Timmins is seeking a responsible Automotive Tire Technician to join our team in Timmins, Ontario. This full-time role offers competitive starting pay and benefits, with training and advancement opportunities through our program.

We value safety, solid customer service, and the ability to work well in a team. You will perform tire services, maintain equipment, and participate in ongoing certification courses to enhance your skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of tire service experience.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills and a great attitude are essential

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, and rotate passenger, light truck, and wheels.
• Complete and maintain safety courses (WHMIS, TIA, Job Hazard Assessment, Customer Experience Standards).
• Ensure personal and coworker safety at all times.
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regular schedule.
• Complete specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.).
• Assist in inventory documentation and annual counts.
• Take pride in keeping customers safe and on the road.

Fountain Tire Timmins a reputable full service repair facility, is looking for a responsible, experienced, and safety conscious associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, balance, and rotate passenger, light truck, and wheels
• Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including WHMIS, TIA, Job Hazard Assessment, and Customer Experience Standards
• The responsibilityto keep yourself and your coworkers safe
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• Pride inthe work you've done keeping your customerssafe and on the road, site or field!

Working conditions:

• A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
• Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 55lbsis required
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who willbe up for the challenge
• This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling

Qualifications:

• We are looking for an experienced tire professional who can hit the ground running!
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
• Excellent customer service skills and a great attitude are essential
