Under general direction, the Branch Manager has responsibility for the overall direction and co-ordination of all branch operations and activities within clearly defined policies and procedures. Organizes and directs the daily activities of both the deposit and loan portfolios which may be comprised of deposits, credit, commercial and agricultural lending, mortgages and investment products. Supervises all branch activity. Works with Human Resources to ensure the branch is adequately staffed as well supporting the Credit Union’s training and development programs as to have a high performing team. Conducts performance appraisals and coaches and develops employee performance, conducts staff meetings and oversees operational concerns. Works to maintain the Credit Union's image and profile in the community by supporting community organizations and attending community events. Initiates action to improve branch efficiency, maintains proper security procedures and adherences to established credit union policies and procedures.
