Job summary

Roofmart, Canada’s national distributor for exterior building supply, is seeking a Branch Manager at a location in Ontario. You will lead the local retail branch, mentor the team, and collaborate with Roofmart Sales to strengthen relationships with customers and win new business.

Ideal candidates have a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in business/sales/marketing and at least 5 years in warehouse/retail management or sales, plus a valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Canada.

Qualifications

• College Diploma or bachelor’s degree (in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 5+ years of warehouse/retail management or sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of the roofing industry is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving abilities for difficult situations.
• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of the local retail branch.
• Mentoring and growing your core team, recognizing that a manager’s success is only possible with a strong team.
• Working closely with Roofmart Sales Team to provide world class support and build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers as well as assist in developing new customers.
• Growing new business and expanding market share by providing solutions to the needs of current and future contractors, homeowners and customers by converting them away from competitor products.
