Job summary

Assiniboine Credit Union in Winnipeg, MB, is seeking a Branch Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight, ensuring exceptional member experience and compliance with internal controls.

You will lead a high-performing Consultant team, drive branch performance, and champion rural and agricultural communities, francophone services, and values-based banking in alignment with ACU's commitments. This role offers growth and a collaborative culture within a Manitoban credit union.

Qualifications

• This position requires completion of a post-secondary program in a related field and 6–10 years of job-related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience within a financial institution overseeing branch operations, budgets, reporting and service standards.
• Leadership certification and/or CFP/PFP designation would be an asset.
• Experience advising on consumer and small business loans, mortgages, deposits and investments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure exceptional member experience and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing Consultant team with a focus on relationship banking and financial guidance.
• Translate goals into actionable branch targets and drive performance across operations and risk management.
• Promote digital tools adoption and education to support a digital-first mindset.
• Engage with the community through sponsorships, partnerships, and financial education initiatives.
