Job summary

MODUS Structures is hiring a Press Brake & Shear Operator in Crossfield, Alberta to join our production facility. The role requires setting up and operating metalworking machines, shaping metal stock into parts, and ensuring parts meet dimensional specifications.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of brake and shear experience, familiarity with Accurpress ETS 3000 is a plus, and the ability to assist on other construction tasks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a brake and shear operator.
• Experience with Accurpress ETS 3000 is an asset.
• The ability to assist on other construction tasks may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, set up and operate metal working machines.
• Shape metal stock into parts by cutting, bending and forming.
• Inspect parts for correct dimensions and specifications.

Job description

Role Description

We are hiring an experienced Press Brake & Shear Operator to work on multiple projects inside our production facility. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, while collaborating with other manufacturing personnel.

• Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metal working machines
• straighten, form, cut, bend, roll, and otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products
• Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications
• Demonstrate safe, quality, and efficient work is being performed

Required Experience

• 3-5 years of experience as a brake and shear operator
• Accurpress ETS 3000 experience is an asset
• The ability to assist on other construction tasks may be needed.
