Job summary

The Westley Calgary Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is seeking a Sales & Events Coordinator for a temporary 6 months+ contract. Reporting to the General Manager and the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will support the sales team by handling inquiries, preparing proposals, and coordinating events from inquiry to execution.

The role requires strong organization, accuracy, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hospitality or hotel sales experience.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or Business is an asset.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills; MS Office and hotel systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and forward to the appropriate salesperson.
• Prepare proposals and contracts within 24 hours.
• Coordinate event bookings and client relationships from inquiry to event execution.
• Manage post-contract servicing, including BEOs and deposits.
