Job summary

The Westley Calgary Downtown in Calgary is seeking a part-time Guest Service Agent to warmly welcome guests, check-in/out, and act as Concierge with local recommendations. You will coordinate room statuses, assist with reservations, and support luggage handling while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service skills, familiarity with hotel PMS, and a proactive, flexible approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is an asset and demonstrated guest/customer service skills with a passion for anticipating and exceeding guest expectations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Experience working with a hotel property management system is a definite asset.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel) are required.

Responsibilities

• Registers guests and assigns rooms, and accommodates special requests whenever possible.
• Assists in preregistration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
• understands room status and room status tracking to ensure inventory is properly managed.
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to promote rooms and services.
