Amplify Care is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Corporate Services team in Canada. You will manage day-to-day accounting, including AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting support, with involvement in payroll and budgeting tasks.

Strong Excel and QuickBooks experience are essential. The role emphasizes process improvements, automation, and collaboration with external accountants and auditors.

Qualifikationen

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting or full-cycle bookkeeping.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with detailed financial data.
• Experience with accounting software; QuickBooks Desktop or Enterprise experience is an asset.
• Experience with reporting, budgeting, or financial analysis is an asset.
• Experience with workflow automation tools, including Power Automate, is an asset.
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes.
• Experience with payroll administration or payroll accounting.
• Experience preparing HST/GST or other statutory remittances.
• Experience working with external accountants or auditors.

Aufgaben

• Process vendor invoices, employee expenses, funder invoices, electronic payments.
• Process invoices, deposits.
• Maintain vendor and client records, monitor outstanding balances, support collections, and keep accounts payable and receivable procedures current.
• Complete bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations, maintain account schedules, and investigate discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end activities, journal entries, account analysis, and audit requests.
• Support budget workbooks, funding trackers, templates, salary and FTE allocations.
• Support recurring financial reports, contract and project costing, and funding and grant reporting.
• Support payroll reconciliations and employee allocation tracking.
• Assist with benefit tracking and workforce related financial reporting.
• Maintain financial systems and documentation, including QuickBooks and payment platforms
• Support workflow automation, AI-enabled finance processes, data validation, system testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
