Workforce Acquisition in Canada is seeking an experienced In-House Bookkeeper to join our growing logistics team. You will manage everyday financial tasks with accuracy, ensuring the ledger stays clean and compliant while contributing to strategic reporting.

Reporting to the CFO, you’ll handle AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and tax filings (GST/QST) with a proactive, detail‑driven approach in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 23 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
• Experience with payroll, bank reconciliations, and AP/AR.
• Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset.
• Logistics or transportation experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, post checks, and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements with precision.
• Handle weekly payroll for drivers using ADP.
• Keep our systems updated and our general ledger clean.
• Support tax filings (GST/QST) and liaise with external accountants.
• Assist with financial reporting and year-end processes.
• Contribute to the success of a high-performing accounting team.
