At Mamann Sandaluk LLP is a boutique immigration law firm in downtown Toronto. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PcLaw or law office accounting. Knowledge of Quickbooks an asset.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, On-site

Salary: Commensurate with experience, generous benefits package

To qualify for this role, you must have:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Bookkeeping.
• Strong understanding of Trust and General account handling.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily financial transactions, including bank reconciliations for trust and general accounts.
• Recording and posting client payments, processing accounts receivable, and issuing receipts.
• Monitoring and processing vendor invoices, maintaining accounts payable records, and preparing payments.
• Supporting billing processes, including pre-bill preparation and applying adjustments as needed.
• Handling petty cash, preparing financial reports, and assisting with client account maintenance.
• Performing monthly and occasional banking activities such as deposits, fund transfers, and pre-authorized payments.
• Assisting with financial recordkeeping, including filing, documentation, and administrative support.
• Collaborating with lawyers, partners and the controller to ensure accurate financial management and compliance with internal policies.
