Baker Tilly Canada is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team. You will provide bookkeeping services to external clients, entering monthly transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing payroll, and monthly financial reports.

This permanent, full-time role is based in Canada with work in Sudbury, North Bay or Timmins. Monday to Friday schedule and a competitive compensation package are offered.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Office, QuickBooks and/or Sage.
• CPB certification would be an asset.
• Knowledge of Caseware / Caseview would be an asset.
• Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide bookkeeping services to external clients.
• Enter monthly transactions.
• Reconcile accounts payable.
• Reconcile accounts receivable.
• Prepare payroll.

Your role

• Provide bookkeeping services to external clients, with primary responsibilities including:
  • Entering monthly transactions
  • Reconciling accounts payable
  • Reconciling accounts receivable
  • Preparing payroll
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Preparing monthly financial reports
  • Government Reporting
  • Other duties and projects as required

What you bring to the table

• Proficiency in MS Office, QuickBooks and/or Sage
