Job summary

Baker Tilly International is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team, driving accurate financial records for clients across Ontario. You will provide essential bookkeeping services, including monthly transaction entry, accounts payable/receivable reconciliation, and payroll preparation.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks and/or Sage.
  • CPB certification would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Caseware/Caseview would be an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.

Your role
  • Provide bookkeeping services to external clients, with primary responsibilities including:
    • Entering monthly transactions
    • Reconciling accounts payable
    • Reconciling accounts receivable
    • Preparing payroll
    • Reconciling bank accounts
    • Preparing monthly financial reports
    • Government Reporting
    • Other duties and projects as required
What you bring to the table
  • Proficiency in MS Office, QuickBooks and/or Sage
  • Three or more years of experience in a similar role
  • CPB (Certified Professional Bookkeeper) certification would be an asset
  • Knowledge of Caseware / Caseview would be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
