Job summary

Baker Tilly SNT is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our Ontario team. You will provide bookkeeping services for external clients, handling monthly transactions, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and compliance with government reporting requirements. The position requires at least three years in a similar role, proficiency in QuickBooks or Sage, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office, QuickBooks and/or Sage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.

Your role

• Provide bookkeeping services to external clients, with primary responsibilities including:
  • Entering monthly transactions
  • Reconciling accounts payable
  • Reconciling accounts receivable
  • Preparing payroll
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Preparing monthly financial reports
  • Government Reporting
  • Other duties and projects as required

What you bring to the table

• Proficiency in MS Office, QuickBooks and/or Sage
• Three or more years of experience in a similar role
• CPB (Certified Professional Bookkeeper) certification would be an asset
• Knowledge of Caseware / Caseview would be an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
