Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks, Inc. is seeking a technical Drafting professional in Stratford, Ontario. You will prepare detailed drawings and layouts for boiler and burner systems, using AutoCAD and Inventor.

Interface with internal teams, customers and suppliers to address technical issues and specifications, applying engineering calculations as needed. Requirements include 2–3 years of technical field education and 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years degree or certificate in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in engineering/drafting roles.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings including technical layouts, multiple views, detail and assembly drawings.
• Use AutoCAD and Inventor to create accurate CAD models and drawings.
• Interface with internal staff, customers and vendors on technical issues and specifications.
• Apply mathematical calculations and engineering formulas to layouts and designs.
• Ensure compliance with ASME standards where applicable and follow company procedures.
