Job summary

The University of Regina is seeking a Boiler & Building Systems Operator to operate and maintain our heating plant and related systems on campus. Reporting to the Chief Engineer or Mechanical Supervisor depending on assignment, you will support high pressure steam boilers, refrigeration equipment, and auxiliary systems while ensuring safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining heating plants or boilers is preferred.
• Knowledge of boiler safety regulations and plant controls.
• Ability to work in a team under supervision and follow preventative maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the heating plant and auxiliary systems.
• Assist in operating high-pressure steam boilers and refrigeration equipment.
• Support the Utilities Maintenance Crew when assigned and follow safety regulations.
