Job summary

ClaimsPro LP in Markham, Ontario is hiring a Bodily Injury Adjuster to join our expanding claims team. The role focuses on handling BI and GL Bodily Injury claims with an emphasis on accuracy and client service.

The successful candidate will use the Claim Space software, collaborate with cross-Canada teams, and may work in hybrid or remote settings. A minimum of 1 year BI claims experience and an insurance-related education are preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance.
• Minimum of 1 year BI Claims experience.
• Equivalency in education and experience will be considered.
• Adjuster’s license, or CIP designation; in progress or completed.
• G driver's license; in-person scene investigations required.

Compensation range: $67,200.00 - $93,300.00 annually

Competencies:

The Independent Adjuster actively adjusts claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized. The profile duties create a dynamic portfolio requiring extremely well-honed organizational skills that enable day to day activities to be completed while allowing efficient and effective progress of file management activities.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have experience in Automobile and General Liability Bodily Injury.

The candidate must have CGL experience ,as well as the following competencies;

• Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Onedrive)
• Previous adjusting experience preferred
• Advanced communication skills including:
• Effective written skills including grammar and those of a technical nature
• Effective oral skills, including listening, interviewing, negotiating, must be able to flex style appropriate to audience

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance.
• Minimum of 1 year BI Claims experience .
• Equivalency in combination of education and experience will be considered.

• Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them.
• Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature, perform and understand advanced numerical calculations including analysis of comparative information.
• Adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing or have completed the CIP designation
• Valid G driver's license - this position will require in person scene investigations and road work
