Job summary

ClaimsPro LP in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a Bodily Injury Adjuster to join our growing team. Hybrid or remote work options are available as we manage BI and GL claims with a focus on quality service for clients.

Ideal candidates have BI claims experience, adjuster licensing or CIP designation, and strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. A valid G license is required for field work and in-person investigations.

Qualifications

• University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance.
• Minimum of 1 year BI Claims experience.
• Adjuster license or CIP designation; CIP or license in progress acceptable.
• Valid G driver's license for in-person investigations.

Responsibilities

Compensation

Compensation range: $67,200.00 - $93,300.00 annually

Competencies

The Independent Adjuster actively adjusts claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized. The profile duties create a dynamic portfolio requiring extremely well-honed organizational skills that enable day to day activities to be completed while allowing efficient and effective progress of file management activities.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have experience in Automobile and General Liability Bodily Injury.

The candidate must have CGL experience , as well as the following competencies;

• Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Onedrive)
• Previous adjusting experience preferred
• Advanced communication skills including:
• Effective written skills including grammar and those of a technical nature
• Effective oral skills, including listening, interviewing, negotiating, must be able to flex style appropriate to audience

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance.
• Minimum of 1 year BI Claims experience.
• Equivalency in combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Ongoing commitment to education and learning.
• Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause and effect dynamics
• Good investigative manner
• Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them.
• Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature, perform and understand advanced numerical calculations including analysis of comparative information.
• Adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing or have completed the CIP designation
• Valid G driver's license - this position will require in person scene investigations and road work
