Are you a Biomedical Engineering Technologist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Biomedical Engineering department.
In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, the Biomedical Engineering Technologist provides services at their facility and travels throughout Northern Health to perform various technical functions related to the Biomedical Engineering Program. These include evaluating new equipment, ensuring medical equipment safety, repairing equipment, conducting scheduled inspections and tests, maintaining records, and providing educational support and technical information to clinical staff. They report to a lead technologist and collaborate with colleagues in Biomed and ITS to serve Northern Health staff.
Monday to Friday, Days - 08:00 to 16:00
This 24-bed facility handles approximately 22,000 ER visits annually and is equipped with Medical Imaging, Laboratory, ICU, ER, and Maternity services, including:
Additional services include Diabetes Education, Healthy Heart and Rehabilitation, Podiatry, Orthopedics, and visiting specialists.
