The Radiological Technologist works in a computerized environment, producing diagnostic radiographs as assigned and carrying out diagnostic procedures independently or in collaboration with a radiologist or physician. The role applies radiation safety principles to protect patients, staff, and the public, and completes necessary documentation and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

• Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification as a Medical Radiation Technologist.
• Graduation from an approved radiology technology program.
• Eligible for CAMRT membership.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
