Apex Graphics, Inc. in Mississauga, ON is hiring a Bindery Production Coordinator to work with the Bindery Manager on machine assignments and daily production performance.

This permanent, onsite role runs Monday to Thursday, 6am–4pm, with a clear path to broader production planning responsibilities. Key duties include drafting technician assignments, coordinating with leads, staging jobs, reviewing data, and assisting with scheduling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience in bindery, print finishing, or a similar environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of finishing/converting equipment and production workflow.
• Strong numerical aptitude for quick, accurate calculations.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Flexible in a fast-moving production environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drafts of technician assignments for approval.
• Distribute assignments to Leads and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure jobs and equipment are staged to minimize downtime.
• Review production data daily and report performance variances.
• Assist with production scheduling with the Bindery Manager.
• Review attendance for hourly staff to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Oversee material supplies such as trays, boxes, glue, and shrink-wrap.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

We are currently looking for a Bindery Production Coordinator who will work directly with our Bindery Manager on machine assignments, production scheduling, and daily productionperformance — with a clear path to broader production planning responsibility as the role grows. Position Overview

• Location: Mississauga, ON (on-site)
• Position: Bindery Production Coordinator
• Type: Permanent/full-time, onsite, Monday to Thursday 6am – 4pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare drafts of technician/operator machine assignments for Bindery Manager approval
• Distribute assignments to Lead Hands and work with Leads to resolve discrepancies
• Ensure jobs and equipment are properly staged to minimize production downtime
• Review and correct production data daily, including press data when requiredReport out-of-target performance to the Bindery Manager and, where appropriate, the Press Manager
• Assist with production scheduling in collaboration with the Bindery Manager
• Review time and attendance for the hourly team to ensure payroll accuracy
• Oversee material supply inventory — trays, boxes, glue, shrink-wrap, and other supporting materials
• Other related duties as assigned

Hiring Range

• Starting range between $50,000 - $60,000, contingent on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
