Apex Graphics, Inc. in Mississauga is seeking a Folding Machine Operator for a permanent, full-time on-site role. The position offers three shifts: Day, Afternoon, and Weekend, with an hourly rate starting at $25.00 based on experience.

The right candidate will have 5 years of bindery/print machine experience, be detail-oriented, able to set up and run all jobs, and work well in a team while remaining independent when needed.

Qualifications

• 5 years of bindery/print machine experience; parallel, 8-page, 16-page and map folds.
• Experience with glue systems and water scores is an asset.
• Ability to set up and run all assigned jobs.

Responsibilities

Role Overview:

Location:Mississauga (on-site)

Position:Folding Machine Operator

Shift Type:Three (3) Shifts Available – see below:

• Day Shift (6:00am – 4:00pm), Monday – Thursday, 10 Hour Shift
• Afternoon Shift (3:48pm - 1:48am), Monday - Thursday, 10 Hour Shift
• Weekend Shift (6:00am – 6:00pm), Friday – Sunday, 12 Hour Shift

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hourly Rate: Starting at $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

What Experience Do You Bring?
The successful candidate will have the following skills & attributes:

• 5 years of bindery/print machine relevant experience; specifically with parallel, 8-page, 16-page and map folds, etc.
• Experience in using glue system and water scores considered an asset
• Ability to both set up and run all jobs assigned
• Sharp attention to detail coupled with a strong mechanical aptitude
• Work effectively within a team environment and able to work independently when required
• Demonstrated ability to be adaptable and flexible as needs arise.
• Strong command of both written and verbal English language
