Responsibilities

Develop detailed structural design drawings and 3D models in Revit and AutoCAD that meet project requirements and industry standards.
Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency of all drawings and models delivered by the drafting team.
Support and mentor junior technicians, providing technical guidance and helping them grow their BIM skills.
Stay up to date with new software, tools, and workflows, and introduce improvements to the drafting process.
Maintain project documentation and ensure all deliverables follow BIM best practices.
Proactively identify and resolve technical issues related to BIM modelling and project coordination.
Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and requirements are met on time and to a high standard.

Requirements

4+ years of experience as a BIM Technician or in a similar drafting role
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Strong knowledge of BIM processes and industry standards
Diploma or degree in Architectural, Engineering, or Drafting Technology (or related field)
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide and mentor others
