Job summary

Bird Construction in Canada is seeking a Digital Construction Coordinator to oversee on-site VDC/BIM coordination across projects. You will coordinate with consultants and trades, manage model accuracy, and drive digital construction workflows on site.

You will lead model coordination meetings, prepare 4D visualizations, coordinate 3D laser scans, and support the BIM Execution Plan with the project team and subcontractors. This role requires engineering education and strong BIM experience.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and construction experience.
• Experience with BIM/VDC software and digital construction workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants, site teams, and subcontractors on BIM/VDC models.
• Coordinate 3D laser scans/point cloud models for project coordination.
• Manage facilities management information for inclusion in the BIM model.
• Lead model coordination meetings and administer the BIM Execution Plan.
• Develop schedule visualization workflows and 4D simulations.
